For tax deductible donations make checks out to IHOP-KC. Do not put my name on the memo line or the IRS will not count it as tax deductible. However, I have to pay about 20% in taxes on all checks made out to IHOP-KC. If you do not want to claim a tax deduction, make checks out directly to me. Either way, all money (except taxes) goes directly to me and not IHOP.
